Aquasense is an instrument that measures all relevant water parameters in real-time. The wireless and mobile units give a simple, flexible and reliable system for achieving full knowledge of the water in any part of the RAS.

When starting up a new RAS system, Aquasense can be used in different positions along the water flow. This will map the change in water as it flows through the recirculation loop. A complete mass balance can be made of CO2 and H2S  production/degassing and O2 production/consumption. This will enable you to tune the system to optimal performance and give instant knowledge about your system that would otherwise have taken years to obtain. This will provide good knowledge about how to best run the system. It can then be operated based on real time water quality parameters and large variations in CO2 can be avoided.

Real-time monitoring of H2S

Aquasense is the first instrument that in real-time can monitor H2S levels in RAS down to 0,1µg/liter.

H2S fatalities

H2S is always present in RAS. Little knowledge is pr. today available on long term exposure on fish.. With aquasense you can follow the increase in H2S levels and implement actions when levels have reached defined limits. Sudden releases  of high consentrations of H2S will be instantly registered and emergency procedures can be triggered.

Option for individual alarm on each sensor

Alarms on Max. and min. values can be set on each sensor, enabling immediate action, if required

Above graphs show typical data from a small volume RAS. The spikes are due to  the automatic calibration that can be scheduled as required. It compares the sensor with known / calibrated media and tells you if the sensor has drifted or is out of calibration. Alarms can be set on each sensor with typical max. values on CO2 and H2S and min levels on O2. This will give you an instant warning if something suddenly occurs with the water. Emergency procedures can then be triggered, and fatalities avoided.
