Searas is developing two new solutions for RAS systems. Both systems has high water exchange rates so that low and stable CO2 levels can be achieved. The SeaRAS Reactor uses skimming and filtration for particle removal, while SeaRAS Raceway uses sedimentation and skimming. High skimming capacity through the Aquaducts is important in order to keep heterotrophic activity low and to obtain a clear and healthy water for the fish

SeaRAS Reactor

This is a complete RAS system built around one tank. The Aquaducts transport water from center tank out to the moving bed biofilter. Through this transport, the water is degassed and skimmed for particles. All pipes and equipment is above ground level, easily available for inspection and service. The design offers high degree of redundancy and is fully instrumented with SeaRAS Aquasense


SeaRAS Raceway

The Raceway can be delivered in two formats; side by side or over/under. The fish is located in one half of the raceway, while the other half is used as a sedimentation volume. for the heaviest particles. Degassing and skimming is by SeaRAS Aquaduct. The Moving Bed Biofilter is located at the end of the raceway
